ConocoPhillips Commitment to SNAP Mission Continues

Petroleum Giant Makes Second $10K Grant to SNAP in as Many Years

SNAP was thrilled in 2006 when oil industry icon ConocoPhillips awarded the agency a $10,000 grant to be used to pursue its mission to prevent the suffering and death of cats and dogs due to overpopulation, especially in low-income areas. Proving their commitment to that mission, ConocoPhillips has followed up last year's grant with another $10,000 grant for 2007, again giving the board of directors, staff, and volunteers of SNAP reason to be elated.

Among the corporate values espoused by ConocoPhillips on its website is responsibility. Its statement regarding responsibility says, "We are a good neighbor and citizen in the communities where we operate." This grant, and the concern it reflects for the dogs and cats of our world, demonstrates that these are not just empty words. ConocoPhillips is indeed committed to the exemplary values it has adopted as a good corporate citizen.

SNAP thanks the wonderful people at ConocoPhillips for their ongoing support as we work to create a world without homeless animals.
