Liberty City Council Awards $3,000 Grant to SNAP
Funding Supports Continuation of Mobile Clinic Program

Clients line up for intake at the SNAP Liberty County mobile clinic. The clinic provide FREE spaying and neutering for animals of qualifying low-income households in the Liberty County area.

The Liberty City Council has awarded SNAP $3,000 of assistance to continue the Liberty Country Mobile Clinic Program. Susan Lamb, SNAP Program Manager for the Liberty County program spoke in front of the Liberty City Council on Tuesday, August 12, 2008 to request the funding.

The program brings FREE spay-neuter services to qualifying low-income households in Liberty County. The mobile clinic visits locations in Liberty, Dayton, and Cleveland several times a month to provide the service.
