The ConocoPhillips corporation recently notified SNAP that it was awarding the agency with a $10,000 grant to support the operations of the Houston Mobile Clinic Program. The award continues a history of support for SNAP from the energy industry firm. The mobile clinic travels to low-income areas in the Houston metropolitan area to provide free spaying and neutering for the cats and dogs of qualifying clients. This program seeks to reduce the births of unwanted animals as part of the SNAP mission to prevent the suffering and death of dogs and cats due to overpopulation, especially in low-income areas.
SNAP is deeply grateful to ConocoPhillips for its ongoing support of our mission and programs.
